About the Institute

Bridging disciplines while maintaining scientific rigor.

YnnovScience

YnnovScience is a research and development institute founded to deepen our understanding of complex human phenomena through the integration of knowledge, measurement, methodology and technology.

Why was the institute founded?

Two people may have the same score on a particular measure yet differ substantially in underlying mechanisms, personal context and the way their conditions evolve. Even many measurements together may not tell the story of a process. We seek to understand interactions, latent structures and patterns of change, not only individual indicators.

Inspiration across disciplines

The institute’s approach emerged from founder Yaniv Shlomo’s two decades of work in research, measurement, data analysis and statistical modeling, alongside his exploration of holistic and complementary approaches. These perspectives are sources of questions and hypotheses, not evidence that any particular treatment or explanation is effective.

Our research approach

We develop holistic and integrative approaches to studying psychological, physiological, behavioral and contextual dimensions. The work combines applied quantitative research, statistical models, measurement development and considered uses of artificial intelligence. New methods require reliability assessment, validation and comparison with established alternatives.

Founder: Yaniv Shlomo

Yaniv Shlomo is a researcher and methodologist with approximately 20 years of experience in applied and quantitative research, measurement, evaluation, data analysis and the development of research methods and models.

His professional background includes research and data analysis at the Social Policy Institute at Washington University in St. Louis, participation in an international Horizon 2020 research consortium, research methodology work, development and validation of medical risk-prediction models, and leading a research team at the Dahaf Research Institute.

He has contributed to academic publications in public health, behavior and mental health. He holds a research master’s degree in Sociology from Bar-Ilan University and a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from Ben-Gurion University.

Independence, openness and scientific scrutiny

YnnovScience distinguishes inspiration, hypothesis, evidence and conclusion. Openness to new ideas does not establish their validity or effectiveness; those questions must be tested through empirical research and critical scientific examination.
